Vitamin B-6 is needed for normal brain function, energy production and to metabolize protein. The higher the protein intake, the greater the need for vitamin B6.

Overconsumption Syptoms
Large doses of vitamin B6 (over 250mg/day) can cause nerve damage and numbness.
