Weight Loss Challenge – Week 2, Day 3 – Making Room For Ice Cream

Posted in: July to October 2009, Suzanne's Weight Loss Journey, Week 2

First off, I just want to say thanks to all the FitWatch fans over on Facebook! You can’t imagine how motivating it is to hear that I’m motivating you! You guys, R-O-C-K!

Things are still going well. *crosses fingers* I stayed within my calorie goal — and I was really proud of myself for making a *conscious* decision to have some ice cream. There’s nothing better than guilt-free ice cream. I even made a video about it explaining my whole thought process.

I know I keep saying this, but I really believe it: fitness is a lifelong commitment, so make choices you can live with for the rest of your life. Don’t deprive yourself of food that you love.

It may not have been the most perfect day, nutrition-wise (too much fat), but I felt good and I felt satisfied. Got a great weight training workout in, too. Used heavier weights! Whoohoo!

Here’s what I ate:
