Function

Necessary for the metabolism of food.

Overconsumption

Large doses of pantothenic acid do not produce symptoms other than (possibly) diarrhea. There are no known toxic symptoms associated with biotin.

Deficiency

There are no known deficiencies of either pantothenic acid or biotin.
