Okay, well, technically, bacteria plays a part in ulcers, but you get the gist of this quote. Stress is a major cause of poor health and contributes to the formation of excess body weight, especially in the abdomen.  While improving the quality of your diet is still a good idea, keep in mind that the thoughts you think also have a powerful effect on your body.  While you’re taking care to put healthy foods in your body, also take care to put healthy thoughts in your head.

Our modern world has become obsessed with huge portions; have you noticed that?  Eating less is one of the easiest ways to start losing weight and improving your health.  That doesn’t mean you have to starve - just don’t stuff yourself to the gills when you eat a meal or snack!  Take less than half of the amount of food you think you can eat, and you may be surprised to realize that you feel completely satisfied.  Not stuffed, but no longer hungry either.  Oh, and put your mind on the same reducing diet when it comes to worry and negativity.  Talk about feeling lighter inside and out!
