Biggest Loser Book Set - A+++June 15, 2009 D. Phillips I am extremely happy with my Biggest Loser book set. My books arrived fast and in perfect condition. These books are motivational, fun and interesting to read and most importantly easy to follow! The menus are quick and easy and good for the entire family. I'm getting into the fitness part now and I can honestly say it motivates me.

The Biggest Loser Library was a purchase I made as a fan of The Biggest Loser and as a person who wants to incorporate exercise into her life. The Biggest Loser book gives helpful hints and stories about previous contestants. It's more of a motivator than a "how-to"book. I've used the other three books more than the first. The cookbook has great recipes, the fitness gives more "how-to" than the first, and I love, love the calorie counter. It's not a book to record your caloric intake like I thought, but a book that gives a lot of grocery items and how many calories are in each item so you can keep track. Very helpful.

These books contain a lot of "fluff" - and not as much helpful info as I would have liked. I wish they had focused less on the previous contestants & had more tips & tricks from the shows professionals. I also thought the cookbook was pretty poor and not very creative. Most of the recipes you could make up yourself without much knowledge of food or cooking. I did think the fitness portion with the photos was great and I like the fact that they gave you 3 different programs for each fitness level. Overall, worth the purchase price but not something I would recommend to a friend.
