Amazon.com Product Description Designed by a Navy SEAL as a go-anywhere workout, the TRX Suspension Professional Trainer is a complete total-body training tool that helps athletes, military personnel, and fitness pros around the world take their performance to the next level. The TRX Suspension Professional Trainer is built around a set of nylon straps that create resistance from two sources always at your disposal: your body weight and gravity. Simply lock the straps to any elevated fixture--such as a pull-up bar, door, or tree branch--and you'll unlock new dimensions in your training.
The TRX Suspension Professional Trainer uses your body weight to create resistance.
The trainer offers a host of valuable benefits: it's easy to set up and highly portable, with a compact, lightweight design that works at home or on the go. If the gym isn't your thing or you want to work out in the privacy of your home, backyard, or hotel, this practical solution will make sure you can stay fit. It also lets you perform hundreds of functional exercises, so you can build strength, flexibility, core stability, and endurance. Perhaps most importantly, the TRX Suspension Professional Trainer supports all fitness levels and goals. By letting you harness your own body weight to create resistance, you can easily adjust the degree of difficulty (from 5 to 100 percent of your body weight) whether you're a beginner or an experienced athlete.
The TRX Suspension Trainer Professional starts with a pair of nylon straps, each of which features an integrated foot cradle for ground-based training along with a club-grade grip. The All-Body Xpress, Vol. 1 DVD, meanwhile, offers multiple cardiovascular and spot-training exercises that target all the major muscle groups in just 25 minutes. If that's too short, you can double up the routine for maximum endurance and strength building. The DVD also includes a bonus warm-up routine, expert tips and techniques, and a complete, waterproof fold-out usage and setup guide. Finally, the bundle comes with a lightweight, durable mesh storage bag with a drawstring closure.

I don't usually write reviews, and goodness knows I've owned just about every exercise device known to mankind. However, this is an excellent piece of equipment and so PORTABLE you can take it anywhere. I recommend the home training kit because it comes with the door anchor, which most users will need, and a great selection of DVDs. I was also very pleased with the quality of the DVDs. They were not cheesy like a lot of fitness DVDs tend to be. I have never looked forward to exercising in my life until I got the TRX. It is so much fun. I will warn you that unless you are already in great shape expect to be sore for the first couple of weeks until your body adjusts. I worked muscles I didn't even know I had. Another benefit to the system is it is so easy to use and easily adjusts to any level - beginner to advanced. I would give the TRX 10 stars if I could. If you are serious about getting in shape, I highly recommend it.
Regardless of "Fake" reviews, TRX Suspension Training is a great workout!December 2, 2009 p1o2i3(Michigan) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I have been using TRX suspension trainers at my gym once a week for the last 5 weeks, and I can vouch that these provide an intense workout. These are especially handy because they can be used by people of all fitness levels. True, alot of these exercises can be done with cheaper or no equiptment at all, but that is only the case if you are strong enough to do so. 5 weeks ago, I could barely do 1 pushup. There was no way that I would be able to do anything that even resembled a workout by just doing pushups. However, using the TRX trainers allowed me to adjust my resistance, so that I could get used to the form and build up my strength. After only using the trainers 5 times, I was able to do 6 pushups without struggling the other day!
So the final verdict? Yes, you could probably scrape together a similar system to exercise with for less money. However, the convenience of TRX is great, and it is one of the best workouts I have ever tried.
Fantastic product and workout!April 8, 2009 C. DeSario(Los Angeles, CA United States) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Okay, so I've tried just about every type of workout device/method out there. The TRX Force Kit is nothing like anything I've tried before.
Admittedly, I'm a bit of a weight snob. I didn't think that just using body weight could provide results. After having done my first TRX workout, I'm here to say that my legs and abs are already sore (in a good way, of course).
This type of training requires focus; you just can't go on autopilot with this workout. And I like that. A lot.
The quality of the product is amazing. All the materials appear to be military grade and the video and printed instruction is top notch.
Also, the speed of delivery is outstanding. I ordered this Sunday night and received the product on Tuesday.

Portable, light weight, serious workoutMay 17, 2009 V. Canfield(San Antonio) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I was intrigued when I saw the TRX system. After looking at the system online I wondered if it could be thrown together at home. After trying a diy system at home and figuring out it was not going to work, I ordered one. It took minutes to unpack and throw over my door. I was working out within 10 minutes. The all over quick workout that comes with the system made my muscles sore after a few minutes of working out and I exercised muscles I didn't know I had. There are alot of good things about the TRX. It is very versatile and can be used for stretching and Pilates moves. It is very light weight so it is great if you need to travel. The transitions are smooth and it is great for novices and pros. The only problem I had was sliding on my laminate floor because my shoes did not have the right kind of soles. So I just go barefoot for most of the workout.

I use the TRX Suspension Trainer regularly at the gym where I am a member. Since I travel frequently, and not all gyms have the straps, I decided to purchase a set for personal use. I was very pleased to find this item on Amazon.com offered at a price that beat all competition. The TRX Suspension Trainer is all it is advertised to be. I no longer use universal type equipment in my daily routine as I feel the TRX Suspension Trainer provides a more challenging workout. I am definitely pleased with the results I have attained since I began using the fitness straps.
