A Good ToolMarch 17, 2010 broker45 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I was seaching for something to help with tennis elbow and came across the book Treat Your Own Tennis Elbow. In it, the book detailed an exercise program for tennis elbow that involved, among other exercises, eccentric exercises for the wrist muscle that is the main problem. You probably haven't ever heard of eccentric exercise, but the book quoted several studies that it based its program on- and the results were phenomenal.
I later stumbled upon these handy tools, the Thera-Band Flex Bars - MEDIUM - Green. I was immediately drawn to them to try because they were a handy way of treating tennis elbow with, well, eccentric exercise!!
Needless to say, these are great tools to use to provide the all-powerful eccentic exercise that seems to be the magic cure for tennis elbow. I found you can easily substitute them for dumbbells if you want- both will cut the mustard.
Got tennis elbow bad? Follow the program in the tennis elbow book and use these- and that should do the trick!

I saw the article in the NYT's and the video how to use on you tube. Having recovered from tennis elbow (TE) I was interested. The product is amazing. The exercise flexes the exact muscles and connective tissue involved in TE. I would reccomend this product.
