I am not one to go to the gym to do cardio, since it can be done anywhere, but this also means it is hard to get motivated when the couch is calling me to relax and just watch TV. Coach Nicole is an excellent instructor that makes it fun to do her workouts. I purchased this DVD along with her other DVD, The Spark: Fit, Firm and Fired Up. Between the two I can get good strength training and cardio in from my living room. I think she offers a great workout regardless of what shape you are in, with variations of each exercise to make it as easy or hard as you could need. Mainly I like that she isn't some ripped, unobtainable version of a human that just screams at you. She works at a comfortable pace that gets your heart up, but still easy to follow along.

I LOVE this DVD! The thought of going to the gym makes me hit the snooze button over and over, and I eventually just don't go. I actually wake up early to work out with this DVD! Coach Nicole is enthusiastic and welcoming, and she really encourages you to work at your own level. She demonstrates great modifications of the moves to either make the exercise more intense or less intense. You do not need to be super coordinated to do this DVD! My biggest problem with other exercise DVDs is that I can't keep up with them because of the advanced choreography. These are easy-to-figure out moves like jumping jacks, front punches, front kicks, grapevines, and marching in place. I highly recommend this DVD to people of ALL fitness levels. Some workouts are harder than others, so there's something for everyone!
very good workout!!June 23, 2010 Ladybug I love this workout!!! All the activities I can do!! Even if I can't she has a motified version which I love!!! You will get an amazing workout!!! I do this most days of the week! And, they are only 10 minutes!! You can mix up your workouts!!
Officially LOVE Coach Nicole! I am SPARKED!!July 21, 2010 Christy Foster(Pittsburgh, PA) I managed to borrow this DVD from my local library... after ONE use, I directly came online and bought a copy for myself. :) SparkPeople is an amazing tool for anyone trying to change their lifestyle and Coach Nicole is... AWESOME!! While trying a "bootcamp" on SparkPeople, I saw some of her free videos on the site and decided to borrow this DVD from my library and I am SO glad I did!
She gives plenty of time leading into each new step and is so encouraging. She tells you to go at your own pace and shows you how you can vary the exercise to suit your needs, but for some reason when she is doing something, you want to try to do it just like her. I thought my fitness was slacking a bit (and I was sweating like a hostage at the end of each of the 3 sections I finished!!), but I was so proud of myself for completing the workouts I did.
The DVD has 6 workouts that are 10-minutes each - Walk It Out (indoor walking routine), 80s Aerobics (oldies but goodies moves), Cardio Kickboxing (kick, punch, and sweatttt), Hop To It (jump all over!!), Jump Rope (no rope necessary), and Cardio Boot Camp (sweat, then sweat, and sweat some more).
My only negative thing to say about the DVD is - I wish you were allowed to choose which workouts you wanted to do in succession so that the warm up and cool down didn't play with each section. However, if that is my only complaint, that means this DVD ROCKS!! This DVD is for people of all fitness levels.
I would suggest Coach Nicole and SparkPeople to anyone ready to be healthier and happier. No question, she is amazing! :)

On days where I am bored with doing cardio at the gym, or when I'm on a major time-crunch, I just pop Coach Nicole's Cardio Blast DVD in and get instantly rejuvenated! Sometimes, I will do a few of the 10-minute workouts at a time in order to get my full 30 minutes of cardio in for the day. This DVD contains a series of 10-minute workouts for all fitness levels from Beginner to Advanced. My favorite 10-minute workout? Cardio Kickboxing! It is high-energy and Nicole's smile, attitude, and encouraging words really help to keep you going. The warm-up, cool down, and stretch segments are very helpful as well.
Whether you are new to fitness or have been working out for years, this DVD has something for everyone! Check it out. Burning those unwanted calories has never been more fun! :)
