I've always watched Gina Lomabardi on Fit Nation. I was so impressed with the show that I looked her up on the internet. Her resume is so impressive I've always wished that I could have her as my fitness trainer. Finally, I can!! I ordered this book the moment it was available. Just as I knew it would be, it's awesome. It comes complete with everything you need to reach your personal goals.It is so very well written and complete with many picture demonstrations, I highly recommend this book!

Deadline Fitness by Gina Lombardi takes years of research, practical sensible....DO-able training and eating plans and applies them to your individual life and fitness goals. The information is researched,and proven without a doubt. Gina Lombardi's techniques work. She takes a real approach to life and fitness; you have to have goals, deadlines, dicepline, with a little bit of fun mixed in and you CAN get results. If you are looking for results, this book is for you. It is working for me, and my workout buddies. And as I heard one trainer at my gym say, this is a book that every trainer should have and use with their clients. Lots of great information all bundled in one place. A must have.

I can highly recommend this book because Gina Lombardi gets results! She helped me lose 40 lbs. so I went from a size 16 to a 6! She taught me so much about nutrition and exercise in such simple, easy-to-understand terms -- with easy-to-follow methods. This lady knows her stuff. Check out her book and start losing now!

Gina Lombardi has earned the reputation in Los Angeles as the go-to coach and trainer for show biz performers who need to shape up fast for upcoming appearances and projects. In Deadline Fitness the author reveals all of the secrets in a healthy approach that gets quick results. As a wellness coach, I appreciated her scientific approach to the whole topic of fitness. The author clearly has advanced knowledge and professional experience in diet and nutrition but avoided explanations that could easily confuse or bore the reader. It's all dropped in the reader's lap in a simple and easy to understand way. In fact the entire book has really advanced information about the whole topic. I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about exercise but Gina Lombardi opened my eyes to routines that have supercharged my workouts and allowed me to get more done in less time without ever falling into the same-old-same-old rut. This book would deserve praise by being distinguished simply as a guide to achieving fitness and weight loss goals in a short amount of time. But the author does not stop there. The final chapter introduces the keys to maintaining your "new body for life." Again, Ms. Lombardi teaches the reader to know the numbers and how to calculate the number of calories needed per day to maintain your new weight based on activity level. I can't think of anyone who is interested in dropping weight and toning up who would not find this book valuable and enjoyable to read.
